Kitchen Floor Demo

Work began today on our old kitchen floors. All the timber floorboards had to be removed and the floor joist readjusted in preparation for concrete sheets to be laid for tiling. We are having the same french-pattern travertine tiles in the new extension area flowing through into the new kitchen area. While some may think we're crazy to put travertine tiles in the kitchen, we're wanting a seamless flow from the kitchen into the new living area. And since we will be having an outdoor kitchen, the messy cooking can be restricted to the outside.
