Exciting Times

As the wooden framework for the new extension goes up on our new concrete slab, we are starting to get very excited. Everything is really starting to take shape. We can picture the space we will have as our new living and kitchen area.

I on the other hand have been occupying myself with tracking down French curtain holders from France. This latest obsession has resulted in 3 matching pair of holders for the french doors in the new extension area, as well as different pairs for each bedroom. The only problem is the holders fit on to spikes that are installed into the wall. While the curtain holders are relatively easy to find, the spikes are quite rare. But hubby thinks that a friend of his should be able to manufacture them. I bought the few that I could find on French eBay and I'm keeping my fingers crossed we can get some more made.
