Work Continues In The Kitchen

Work has continued in the kitchen in spite of the rain. It's a good thing we haven't had heavy rain and if anything, the mild rain is good for the curing of the concrete slab as it helps cool it down. The builder has finally relented and agreed to follow the building inspector's recommendation. We now have a thin plastic sheet over the slab.

The steel beam has been installed over the new kitchen opening. We can picture the new kitchen space now, although the entire site looks like a bomb's exploded in there. And still it continues to rain...
