We Have Steel

Our entire backyard is littered with steel rods protruding out from the ground. Almost overnight, it appears that reinforcing mesh has taken over our backyard. It's amazed me the amount of steel that is going into the ground for the concrete slab.

Even our bathrooms have not been spared the invasion of steel.

It is quite exciting as this means that we're days away from our concrete slab pour. The concrete pour will signify the first major step in our renovation. It is so very permanent, exciting and stressful all at the same time, It means that there is literally no turning back now.
