The Arrival Of The Skip

The rubble pile from the demolition is beginning to pile up at the back of the house. The outdoor decking area has been completely removed, the post for the outdoor verandah is now completely gone. There were some perma-pine that we managed to salvage from the decking. Hopefully we'll find some use for it later on, or perhaps we might be able to sell it on Gumtree.

The quiet sunny afternoon was rudely interrupted by the squeal of brakes and the grinding of metal. Our first skip bin had been delivered. It looks like an hungry, angry metal monster, sitting in our driveway. I wonder how long it will take to fill it up.
