Baby Steps

We've made quite a bit of progress over the last few weeks. The guest room now has been fully painted in two layers of base coat. That has taken a couple of weekends of solid work. It took awhile getting used to having to paint such a high ceiling but I think we've kinda got the hang of it. Trying to paint about 3 metres of wall with a paint roller on an extendable pole is not as easy as it looks and involves lots of maneuvering.

Yesterday, hubby went and picked up our beautiful candy-pink striped bergère armchairs and our pair of bedside tables up from Gary's. They will have to stay in storage for now until the renos are done and they can be placed in their rightful spots. Chloe, our westie, seemed quite keen on the armchairs.
