More French? Why Not!!!

My aunt is down visiting us from Brisbane. My parents are here for their usual 2 months stint and they were keen to catch up with other family members in Australia. My aunt is in the process of renovating as well and she was in the market for some furniture pieces. We were quick to recommend Gary at Davenport Interiors. I drove her down to Gary's shop for a nosy around. She was interested in a chest of drawers and a writing desk, but a pair of wonderful bergeres in candy-striped pink caught my eye. They were so delightful that I was drawn to them.

I love the fabric on them - just the right shade of pink without being too girly. The proportions of these chairs are just perfect. And they are soooo comfy. I can just imagined curled up in one of them with a good book... Mmm.... Gary also had a pair of bedside tables that I thought would look lovely paired together with our bed. I got hubby to head down for a look during his lunch break and we put a deposit on the pair of bergeres and the bedside tables.
