Fabric Shopping

Now that we have our bed, we need to find fabric to reupholster the bed. Unfortunately, the style of fabric that we are looking for is terribly hard to come by. A recommendation from a friend saw me at Greenfield & Hunter. The staff at Greenfield & Hunter were very friendly and helpful, unlike many other interior decorating places in Adelaide that I had been to. The lady who served me was quick to show me a sample book of Lelievre fabric when I explained to her what I was looking for. She was even happy to loan me the sample book to take away.

Carrying two massive books of sample fabric, I arrived at Gary's shop, Davenport Antiques. Our bed has been fully restored and regilded by Gary, and he was storing it at his showroom for us as we have no room for it at the house at the moment. I spent over an hour trying to photograph the bed with the different samples.
