One Man's Trash is Another Man's Treasure

What a stroke of luck. Hubby found a pair of bedside tables sitting on the side of the road on his way to work. Their owner had no more use for them but we thought they would be a fine addition to the study or guest room. On closer inspection, we found a maker's stamp behind the tables - Norman Turner & Nottage. Norman Turner & Nottage was a well known bespoke furniture company in Adelaide. They produced hand-made reproduction furniture from their shop on Wright Street from early to mid 1900. Here is a copy of their ad.
